Falling for a Dancer

Falling for a Dancer

Following a passionate affair with an itinerant actor, solicitor's daughter Elizabeth O'Sullivan finds herself pregnant at the age of 19. Limited by the social 1930's Catholic Ireland, her parents marry her off to a widowed farmer, Neeley Scollard, who is twice her age. Set on the breathtakingly beautiful Beara Peninsula in West Cork, this is the story of a woman whose intense capacity for joy finds ultimate release and fulfilment in a way which surprises even herself. The series is based on Deirdre Purcell's novel of the same name.
