Green from Script to Screen, an initiative founded by Elaine Walsh and Daragh Goan, presents the second of their two events as part of DIFF’s commitment to showcasing sustainable practice in filmmaking all the way through from concept to the closing credits.

The panel discussion taking place on Thursday, 26th February 2026 from 14:00-16:00 at Haymarket House, Dublin 7 is designed to explore the practice of integrating eco-consciousness into screenwriting and storytelling from the beginning of the filmmaking journey, continuing this ethos all the way through production.

Hear from climate storytelling leaders who will be speaking about what the future of the planet and the green turn within the industry might hold.

Moderated by Daragh Goan and Elaine Walsh of Green From Script to Screen. This event will also include a screening of Elham Ehsas’ short film, There Will Come Soft Rains.
