This course aims to give you a solid grounding in the core skills of the TV production researcher, including:

• How to spot and tell a good story
• Widening your sources of information
• Finding and casting contributors
• Interview techniques
• Internet research tips
• Against a backdrop of disinformation and use of AI – how to scrutinise your research and ensure accuracy
• A not-so-heavy dose of editorial and legal compliance
