A Paris-based film director returns home to his village in South Lebanon after the 2006 war and witnesses how people are coping with the destruction. The resulting film is a visually striking diary piece, featuring a collection of conversations, observations, and reflections about rebuilding and surviving. Inevitably the film also explores the cycles of life, destiny, religion, war, peace, and olive picking. Above all, it is an intimate and special insight into a community, starting with the director's own family.
