Deliveries and collections of materials and equipment should be optimised to minimise journeys and reduce fuel use/emissions.
Vehicle journeys should be planned to ensure fuel use/emissions are minimised. Where different vehicles can be used for a particular purpose, please choose the vehicle with the lowest consumption and emissions.
Equipment should be switched off and unplugged when not in use.
Observe the no idling policy.
Circular Economy
Props should seek to rent items in preference to buying items. Bought items should be second hand where possible.
Develop and implement an Asset Disposal Plan to identify options for donating, reselling and repurposing items when no longer needed by the production.
Low or no VOC (Volatile Organic Compound) paints, adhesives and sprays should be used and toxic materials should be avoided.
Place waste food, packaging and materials in the appropriate waste stream.
