Sets should be designed and built in a way that facilitates easy dismantling and reuse of materials.

- A Zero Waste Policy should be developed in conjunction with the construction department to enable informed decisions to be made regarding the methods and materials to be used for building sets.
- Asset Disposal Plans should be prepared to plan for the reuse and re-homing of materials, flats and props at the end of the production so that the resources needed to manage the process can be budgeted for, and the process can be delivered efficiently during the wrap weeks.
