In 2022, the Department of Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media allocated €32.15million in Capital funding to Fís Éireann/Screen Ireland. Over the course of the year, the agency considered over 250 development and over 100 production applications for funding. 2022 saw a total of more than 3,500 skills development placements across Section 481 training, courses and other skills development initiatives, including mentorships and shadow directing.
