Irish short ‘A Film From My Parish - 6 Farms’ selected for numerous European festivals

The Irish short film A Film From My Parish - 6 Farms, written and directed by Tony Donoghue has been selected for a number of European film festivals this month. 

It has been selected for the Animated Documentaries section of the London International Animation Festival which is currently taking place (27 August - 6 September).  The short will then screen in Oslo on 18th September where it will be representing Ireland on Kulturnatt, the Culture Night in the Norwegian city.  Then it will screen in the documentary festival Docupolis 9 in Barcelona at the end of September (29th September - 4th October).

In October it will compete in the "Animadoc" section of DOK Leipzig, the festival for documentary and animated film.  The festival is the largest German and one of the leading international festivals for artistic documentary and animated film and takes place 26th October - 1st November.

A Film From My Parish - 6 Farms is an animated-photographic study of one parish in Co. Tipperary and was produced as part of the Frameworks short animation film scheme which is co-financed by the IFB, RTE and the Arts Council.
