New Irish series Rásaà na Gaillimhe starts on TG4
Rásaí na Gaillimhe, the new TG4 series directed by Robert Quinn will start on 23rd September at 9.30pm. The series comprised of episodes of 40 minutes, will run for seven successive weeks on Wednesday nights.Rásaí na Gaillimhe (The Galway Races) which stars Don Whycherley, Tomas O'Suilleabhán, Ruth Bradley, Owen Roe and Frankie McCafferty follows the fortunes of a disparate yet intricately connected group of characters through an exciting race week. Each episode of the series will be based on one of the seven deadly sins of Pride, Gluttony, Envy, Lust, Sloth, Wrath and Greed.
Produced by Eoin Holmes and Tricia Perrott for Great Western Films, the series was written by James Phelan and was funded by TG4, the Irish Film Board and the Broadcasting Commission of Ireland.
Rásaí na Gaillimhe starts on Wednesday 23rd September at 9.30pm for seven weeks.
