Call For Entries: Mumbai International Film Festival
The Mumbai International Film Festival is looking for entries for its 11th festival which takes place at the prestigious National Centre for the Performing Arts 3-9 February, 2010.Established in 1990, the festival for documentary, short and animated films is a competitive biennial festival which has gained international recognition and is currently rated as the world's best and largest documentary film festival.
A new award category "Student Film/Video" has been introduced this year and the award prizes have increased for each competitive category.
Apart from the competitive sections, there will be retrospective and special screenings including Jury retrospectives, films on cinema legends and films focusing on Bhutan, France, Chile and Argentina along with seminars and open forums throughout the festival.
