IFB Short Lowland Fell Wins Award at Novara Film Festival, Italy

The Irish short film Lowland Fell directed by Michael Kinirons and shot by Suzie Lavelle has won the Best Cinematography Award at the Novara Film Festival in Italy.

The films is a lush, erotically charged teenage drama that follows the exploits of three teenagers played by Jane McGrath, Robert Sheehan and Michael who uncover a bog body on a late summer's day.

It was produced by Katie Holly of Bl!nder Films (The Basket Case, One Hundred Mornings, Sensation) as part of the Irish Film Board's Short Cuts scheme. 

Lowland Fell continues its festival run and will be screened shortly at the Foyle Film Festival in Derry, the Brief Encounters Film Festival in Bristol and the Waterford Film Festival.
