A Shine of Rainbows picks up two awards in the US
A SHINE OF RAINBOWS an official Irish/Canadian co-production directed by Vic Sarin and starring Aidan Quinn and Connie Nelson has just picked up two awards in the US.The film won the Audience Award at the Heartland Film Festival in Indianapolis, Indiana where it had its US premiere and then went on to be awarded First Prize from the Chicago International Children's Film Festival for an English Language Feature Film.
The film which shot in Donegal last year recently screened at the renowned Toronto and London film festivals where it received critical acclaim.
A Shine of Rainbows was produced by James Flynn for Octagon Films in Ireland and Tina Pehme and Kim Roberts for Sepia Films in Canada with funding from the IFB, Telefilm, Corus Family Feature Fund, Shaw Rocket Fund and Harold Greenberg Fund.
