Calling All Budding Filmmakers - Jameson launches Done in 60 Seconds Competition

Jameson has launched the internationally renowned "Done in 60 Seconds" film competition for 2010.

The challenge is simple, re-make a classic movie in 60 seconds (with an added dash of Jameson humour!) and upload it to www.entertainment.ie/ donein60seconds.

Hopefuls can check out the website for inspiration and expert advice from "Slumdog Millionaire" director Danny Boyle, who gives tips for creating mini-masterpieces and view last year's overall winning entry, a hilarious re-make of Jerry Maguire by Irish finalist, Stephen Power from Dublin.

Two Irish winners will be announced during the Jameson Dublin International Film Festival in February, winning a 3 night VIP trip to London and attending the Jameson Empire "Done in 60 Seconds" Finalists party along with 18 other international finalists.

Their 60-second movie versions will be judged by an expert panel of judges, with the top 5 nominees going on to attend the Jameson Empire Awards on Sunday 28th March, and an overall winner getting called up on stage to accept their very own Jameson Empire Award and mingling with the many International movie stars and film movers and shakers who attend the awards - deemed by many in the industry as the most fun in the International movie calendar.
