New Irish TV Drama Na Cloigne starts on TG4 this week
The first episode of NA CLOIGNE, the new drama series directed by Robert Quinn, will broadcast on TG4 this Wednesday 13th January at 10:30pm.
NA CLOIGNE (The Heads) is a supernatural thriller, which tells the story of a young couple, Seán and Nuala, who become caught up in the horrible and gruesome murders of two young women.
The three-part series was written by Lauren McKenzie and Darach O’Scolaí and was produced by Ciaran O’Cofaigh for ROSG, a Connemara based film and television production company. Director Robert Quinn has previously directed the successful series Rasai na Gaillimhe and Seacht.
NA CLOIGNE boasts a host of renowned Irish acting talent including Dara Devaney and Siobhán O Kelly starring as troubled couple Seán and Nuala, with Barry McGovern as the psychic Superintendent who comes to their aid. Among the supporting cast are well known actors Macdara Ó Fatharta, Joe Steve Ó Neachtain and Áine Ní Dhroighneáin.
The series was co-financed by the Irish Film Board, the Broadcasting Commission of Ireland and TG4.
NA CLOIGNE will air on Wednesdays beginning the 13th January at 10:30pm on TG4.
