IFB Funded Films Screening at the Jameson Dublin International Film Festival
The Irish Film Board (IFB) is delighted to be the Official Industry Partner of the Jameson Dublin International Film Festival which takes place this year from the 18th-28th February.This year there is a strong focus on new Irish films and documentaries presented in association with the IFB. Neil Jordan's eagerly awaited feature film ONDINE starring Colin Farrell will open the festival on Thursday 18th February with both Neil and Colin in attendance.
Hot from critically acclaimed screenings at the Sundance and Slamdance Film Festivals in the US, Ken Wardrops award-winning documentary HIS & HERS and Conor Horgan's ONE HUNDRED MORNINGS will also screen along with the tense drama SAVAGE directed by Brendan Muldowney.
There will be a chance to catch COLONY, the debut feature Irish documentary directed by Ross McDonnell and Carter Gunn which was the winner of the First Appearance Award at the International Documentary Film Festival in Amsterdam last year, during the festival too.
Audiences will get an opportunity to see the latest IFB shorts which includes CORDUROY which has been selected for competition at the upcoming Berlin International Film Festival as well as a programme of IFB musical shorts.
