Barry Ackroyd to speak at the National Film School
One of Britain's leading directors of photography, Barry Ackroyd, will be taking part in the National Film School Lecture Series this Wednesday 20th January.Barry is probably best known for his collaboration with Ken Loach, for whom he has shot twelve films, including The Wind That Shakes the Barley (European Film Award); and Looking for Eric. Other work include Green Zone and United 93 (BAFTA nomination), both directed by Paul Greengrass. Recently he has been highly praised for his work on The Hurt Locker, for which he has been nominated for an ASC Award.
Barry Ackroyd will speak on Wednesday 20th January at 5.30pm in A021 in the National Film School in Dun Laoghaire and all are welcome.
The National Film School Lecture series is supported by Bord Scannán na hÉireann/the Irish Film Board and is free of charge.
