New Irish TV Series An Crisis to Air on TG4 Tonight

The latest Irish television series An Crisis will broadcast its first of six episodes tonight on TG4 at 10:30pm.

Written by Antoine O'Flatharta, An Crisis follows an Irish language State organisation called ACT (An Chomhairle Teanga), headed by director Setanta De Paor played by Risteárd Cooper (Aprés Match).  In its bid for success, the team begin to utilise some unusual policies, which along with Government cutbacks, some questionable projects they have sanctioned and a new Minister, triggers a downward spiral.

The drama also stars other familiar faces including Kate NicChonaonaigh (The Clinic), Donncha Crowley (Rasaí na Gaillimhe), Michelle Beamish (Eden), as well as Norma Sheahan and Don Wycherley amongst others.  It was produced by Martha O'Neill for Wildfire Films and received funding from the Irish Film Board and the Broadcasting Authority of Ireland.

An Crisis can be seen on Wednesdays at 10:30pm on TG4 beginning 7th April.
