Applications Are Open For Membership at Irish Film & Television Academy
The Irish Film & Television Academy (IFTA) is now open for new memberships.
IFTA is comprised of members in Ireland and internationally who are professionals working in the film and television industries.
To become a full member of the Academy you must have a minimum of four years professional experience and demonstrate that you are working at an appropriate level as defined by each individual chapter, and/or have made a significant contribution to the industry.
To be eligible for membership you must have been either born in Ireland or have lived in Ireland for a minimum of three years. If an applicant has not been born in Ireland or has not been a resident at some stage of their career, they must be able to demonstrate a significant contribution to the Irish industry.
All winners of an Irish Film and Television Award are entitled to free membership for the following year.
All Honorary Award winners automatically become Honorary Lifetime members of the Academy.
