FÃS Screen Training Ireland Accepting Applications for ‘3D Cinema in Europe’ Course
FÁS Screen Training Ireland, in association with Bord Scannán na hÉireann/ the Irish Film Board, will be running a ‘3D Cinema in Europe' course aimed at exploring the technical and creative requirements in producing a 3D stereoscopic live action feature film. The course will take place from 24th-26th September and 10th -12th December in Ireland and another EU city.
The deadline for applications is Monday 5th July.
3D cinema in Europe aims to provide producers and creatives with an indepth knowledge of the current 3D landscape, enabling them to successfully project mange a 3D project through all stages from development, pre-production, production, post-production, distribution and exhibition.
The course will cover vital elements including:
- Provide participants with an overview of current 3D landscapes, enabling you to project manage a 3D project throughout all stages
- Explore development stage of 3D - scripting, planning, storyboards
- Provide indepth technical overview for shooting and post-production of 3D
- Understanding 3D digital cinema projections
- Create a pool of professionals highly versed in all areas of the 3D process
- Inspire the creative film community in Europe
