Special Film Screenings Announced for GIVE ME DIRECTION

Two exclusive screenings of the classic comedy KINGPIN and the upcoming PLEASE GIVE have been scheduled for the GIVE ME DIRECTION Screenwriting Conference which takes place on June 17th and 18th.

KINGPIN, the Farrelly Brothers slapstick 1996 comedy stars Woody Harrelson, Randy Quaid and Bill Murray.   It tells the story of one time bowling protégé Roy Munson and his journey back to the big time.   Bobby Farrelly, who is travelling to Ireland especially for the Give Me Direction conference, will be interviewed by Lenny Abrahamson before introducing the classic comedy.

Having screened at the Sundance and Berlin Film Festivals earlier this year, PLEASE GIVE is Nicole Holofcener's latest offering and stars Catherine Keener, Amanda Peet, Oliver Platt and Rebecca Hall. The comedy is Nicole's take on modern life's contradictions, good intentions and shaky moral bearings.  This exclusive screening will coincide with the release of the film in selected cinemas nationwide.  Nicole will be attending the screening and will engage in a special discussion with Sharon Horgan during the conference.
