Extended Cinema Release for Irish Docs HIS & HERS and COLONY

Due to great success at the Box Office, Ken Wardrop’s HIS & HERS and COLONY, the debut feature from Ross McDonnell and Carter Gunn, have both attained extended cinema releases.

The multi award-winning HIS & HERS is a profoundly affectionate appreciation for woman in all her versatility.  Following sequentially from little girls to old women, the film captures the voice of 70 women, exploring the relationships with the men in their life as they speak fondly and intimately about fathers, boyfriends, husbands and sons.

Produced by Andrew Freedman for Venom Films, the film was financed by the IFB/BSÉ.  It was released in cinemas nationwide on 18th June and has since garnered critical acclaim and gained steadily increasing audience figures.  As well as an extended release, additional theatres have been added to the line-up.

This beautifully photographed film documents a time of unprecedented crisis in the world investigating the unexplainable phenomenon known as Colony Collapse Disorder which has left landscapes of empty beehives all across America, which consequentially threatens our food supply.

Produced by Macdara Kelleher and Morgan Bushe for Fastnet Films, the documentary was funded by the IFB/BSÉ.

Colony will be screening in the Light House Cinema, Smithfield, Dublin 7 on the following dates:
