'The Fading Light' Set to Screen at Prestigious Pusan Festival this Weekend
Ivan Kavanagh's The Fading Light will be screening in the World Cinema section at the prestigious 15th Pusan International Film Festival which will take place in South Korea from the 7th -15th October.
The Fading Light is an emotionally intense drama about the disintegration of a loving family and how we can never really escape the past. It is above all an intimate family drama about memories, childhood, guilt, the inability to communicate and death.
Produced by Anne-Marie Naughton for Park Films and financed by the IFB/BSÉ, the film was successfully released in the IFI in Dublin earlier this year. It will also be taking part in the screening section of the Asian Film Market in Pusan; writer and director Ivan Kavanagh will be in attendance at the festival.
