EURIMAGES FUNDING SESSION FOR IRISH PRODUCERS
The Eurimages Fund has an annual budget of approximately €20 million. Ireland has been a member since 1993 and to date Irish co-productions have received over €8 Million. However in the past year there has been a significant decrease in applications and the fund is currently under-utilised by Irish producers when they are seeking finance. Therefore, we have invited Renate Roginas to Ireland to discuss the Eurimages funding process with Irish producers in the hope that this event will raise the sector’s awareness of the fund.
Renate Roginas is the Executive Secretary of Eurimages since 2001. She also heads International Business Affairs at TELEFRANCE, one of the major French productions companies, and is a tutor and an expert of the Media Business School. This event will take place today (Thursday 18th) at 5pm in the meeting Room of the IFI.
