SXSW Film Festival Accepting Entries until Thursday 9th Dec

The SXSW Film Festival is still accepting entries for the 18th Annual Film Festival to be held in March 11 - 19, 2011 in Austin, Texas.  The Last Minute Deadline for submissions is Thursday 9th December.

Submissions will be accepted in the following categories: Narrative Feature, Documentary Feature, Narrative Short, Documentary Short, Animated Short, Texas High School Short, Music Video, and Opening Title Sequence. You decide which category is appropriate for your film. Remember, SXSW defines a short as any film with a runtime less than 40 minutes and a feature as any film with a runtime over 40 minutes.

SXSW Film does NOT accept trailers or works-in-progress. They do accept rough cuts (picture lock w/ temp sound, color, etc), but cannot guarantee they will have time to view a finished product. Applicants will be informed of the status of their project no later than February 14, 2011.
