FILMBASE MEET AND GREET SESSION
In our continuing endeavours to raise awareness of the Board’s remit and activities amongst the wider sector, the Board held a meet and greet session with Filmbase members on Wednesday December 17th in the IFI.After a brief introduction, Brendan McCarthy, Head of Production and Development, Rebecca O’Flanagan, Development Manager and Katie Lowry, Development Assistant welcomed comments and questions from the audience. Hot topics included international co-production, writer-only development loans and the ramifications of Section 481 being extended.
The Board reiterated their commitment to meeting regularly with Filmbase members and welcomed questions and queries from members throughout the year.
