Celtic Film & Television Festival Nominations Announced

Frank Ned agus Busy Lizzie, produced by Vinegar Hill Productions has been selected for competition in the Feature Documentary category at The Celtic Film and Television Festival which takes place in Dundee, Scotland from 31st March to 4th April .

Directed by Nessa Ni Chianain, Frank Ned agus Busy Lizzie introduces us to a Donegal farmer who has a new companion - 40-year old sales woman Lizzie. However Frank has no relatives to leave his 40-acre farm to and the neighbours believe Lizzie's motivations to be "less than pure".

Waterloo Dentures, a BSÉ/IFB backed Short has also been selected for competition in the Short Drama category at The Celtic Film and Television Festival. A tale of doomed love, Waterloo Dentures was directed by Rachael Moriarty and Peter Murphy. It was funded through the Short Shorts film scheme which aims to produce ultra short pieces, which can be used to promote Irish film-making and Bord Scannán na hÉireann / the Irish Film Board. Waterloo Dentures has also been selected for The Florida Film Festival, which takes place from 5th to 14th March.
