Reminder! Deadline for Galway Film Centre/RTÉ Short Films Award is Friday 11th March
A reminder that the deadline for this year's Galway Film Centre/RTÉ Short Film Awards is now approaching. The deadline for submissions is Friday March 11th.
Two scripts will be selected from the submissions received and the two winning entries will each receive a sum of €9,500 to make their film. In addition Galway Film Centre will provide equipment and facilities and RTÉ will screen the finished film. Application Guidelines:
Only one script per applicant is acceptable so please submit your strongest choice and all applicants must be members of Galway Film Centre. If you think you have a good idea for a short film then now is the time to start writing!
Completed applications should ensure to include the following:
1. Script or treatment with sample scenes. Please submit three unbound copies for ease of copying. The script or treatment should not identify the writer or production company making the submission (blind copies), so our readers remain impartial when assessing your script. Only one script per applicant will be accepted.
2. Notes on style (1 copy)
3. CVs of writer, director & producer (1 copy) 4. A completed application form (1 copy)
