3 Oscar Nominations for IN AMERICA
Bord Scannán na hÉireann / the Irish Film Board congratulates Jim Sheridan and 'In America' on scoring three nominations in the 76th Annual Academy Awards which take place place in LA on the 29th of February.The film received three nominations for: Djimon Hounsou (Best Supporting Actor), Samantha Morton (Best Actress) and Best Original Screenplay. The film was shot on location in Ireland and Dublin doubled as New York in many scenes in the film.
