AV take on 'Jump'
AV Pictures has taken on worldwide sales representation for the multi-stranded comedy thriller "JUMP".The modern urban fairytale is set in Derry on New Year's Eve and shows the trials and tribulations of three unrelated groups of characters, gradually exposing how their stories all interweave as fate takes a hand in a night of fast talk, accidents and intrigue.
The talented young cast includes Nichola Burley (Wuthering Heights, Street Dance 3D), Martin McCann (Killing Bono, Clash Of The Titans), Valene Kane (At The End of the Day), Richard Dormer (The Escapist) and Charlene McKenna.
The film is currently in production with Kieron J Walsh directing from Lisa McGee's (Being Human) script based on the stage play of the same name. Brendan J Byrne, of production company Hotshot Films, is producing the film alongside co-producing partner Katie Holly of Blinder Films.
The project is an official UK/Irish co-production with finance from Northern Ireland Screen, Bord Scannán na hÉireann/the Irish Film Board, Firefly Film Sales, BBC Northern Ireland and Bentico Trading Limited.
