Are You Attending the Tribeca Film Festival This Year?
The Tribeca Film Festival will take place in Lower Manhatten, New York from 20th April - 1st May.
Irish feature films scheduled to screen at the festival include the world premieres of LOTUS EATERS, directed by Alexandra McGuiness, and the Irish-French co-production THE HIDEAWAYS, directed by Agnes Merlet. John Micheal McDonagh's THE GUARD, starring Brendan Gleeson and Don Cheadle will be having its New York premiere at the festival while Irish short films will be represented by Peter McDonald's PENTECOST, Domhnall Gleeson's NOREEN and SWITCH, written by TJ Hundtofte and directed by Tomas Hoffernon.
Other Irish talent in the line-up include Lance Daly's new film THE GOOD DOCTOR, which stars Orlando Bloom, and documentary THE SWELL SEASON about the Oscar® winning duo Glen Hansard and Marketa Irglova.
