FRANK NED & BUSY LIZZIE Scoops Best Documentary at the Celtic Film & Television Awards

Vinegar Hill's documentary, FRANK NED & BUSY LIZZIE has scooped the Best Feature Documentary Award at the Celtic Film Festival this week. The Celtic Film and Television Festival is a celebration of the best on film and in broadcasting from Brittany, Cornwall, Ireland, Scotland and Wales and promotes the cultures and languages from these regions and countries.

Directed by Nessa Ni Chianain, Frank Ned & Busy Lizzie films bachelor farmer Frank Ned in remote Donegal who is 'adopted' by a door-to-door saleswoman, Lizzie. As Frank has no relatives to leave his 60-acre farm to, the neighbours become suspicious as to what exactly her motivations are. This award winning documentary will be broadcast on TG4 this Saturday 3rd April at 9pm.

Frank Ned & Busy Lizzie was produced for TG4 with the support of Bord Scannán na hÉireann, Foras na Gaeilge and Údarás na Gaeltachta.
