Chavez wins prestigious US Peabody Award
CHAVEZ -- INSIDE THE COUP, directed by Kim Bartley, Donnacha O’Briain, continues to win international acclaim and has just scooped a prestigious US Peabody Award this week. These awards recognize distinguished achievement by radio and television networks, stations, producing organizations, cable television organizations and individuals and were established as the "the Pulitzers" of the electronic media.CHAVEZ -- INSIDE THE COUP, which won the Global Television Grand Prize at Banff last year, provides a thrilling insight into the President of Venezuela, Hugo Chavez and charts the run up to the April 2002 coup d'etat against him and his dramatic return to power some 48 hours later.
