IRISH FESTIVALS UPDATE
The Cork Film Festival has announced a two-week extension to its submission deadline for Irish filmmakers. The new deadline is Friday July 16th. Entries must be in by this date in order to be considered for competition. Entry form and regulations are available from the festivals website www.corkfilmfest.org. To be considered for competition all films must be 30 minutes or less and finished since July 2002.The Kerry Film Festival, which runs from 18th - 24th October, has just announced the adjudication panel for its short film competition whcih include Film Director John Boorman, Film Producer Ned Dowd (KING ARTHUR), Brendan McCaul (Buena Vista International), Seamus Duggan (Filmbase), Se Merry Doyle (Documentary Filmmaker) and Derry O’Brien (Network Ireland Television).
