Frameworks animated short film scheme: guidelines updated and applications open
Applications are now open for Bord Scannán na hÉireann/the Irish Film Board’s Frameworks animated short film scheme, which is co-funded by RTÉ. The next application deadline is midnight on Friday, May 2nd, 2014.

Please be aware that all applications should now be submitted through the IFB’s new online application system – we are no longer accepting them by hard copy or email.
Frameworks is a scheme for the making of animated short films which is considered to be continually successful in stimulating ground-breaking new work from Irish animators. For details on the parameters of the scheme, who can apply, the procedure and general rules, please click here.
Previous films funded under the Frameworks scheme include The Missing Scarf, Granny O’Grimm’s Sleeping Beauty, Irish Folk Furniture and Give Up Yer Aul Sins. Frameworks is now accepting applications for its 19th edition.
