New Irish shorts on the IFB Short Film Channel
Every year, Irish filmmakers produce innovative, award-winning shorts under the IFB’s Frameworks, Signatures, Gearrscannáin and Reality Bites schemes. After the films have finished their festival screenings, we upload them to the Short Film Channel of our Media Hub for everyone to enjoy.
We are delighted to announce that a new selection of short films will be available to watch on the Short Film Channel in the coming weeks. From today, you can see:
Blinky™, an animated short written and directed by Academy Award nominee Ruairi Robinson (Fifty Percent Grey, The Last Days on Mars) and produced by Nick Ryan (The Summit) for Image Now Films, funded under the Frameworks scheme.
Blue Rinse, written and directed by Matt Leigh (Dead Money, The Nurse) and produced by Nodlag Houlihan (Downpour, Broken Song) for Zucca Films, funded under Reality Bites. Winner of the awards for Best Documentary, Sardinia Film Festival; Best International Short, Arizona Short Film Festival; Best Short, Big Sky Documentary Festival; and officially selected for AFI Silverdocs Documentary Festival.
