SHORT FILM WATERLOO DENTURES TO BE RELEASED IN CINEMAS NATIONWIDE
The BSÉ/IFB funded short film WATERLOO DENTURES, directed by Rachael Moriarty and Peter Murphy, will be released in cinemas nationwide this Friday July 23rd. The short film, a story of doomed love, the fall of Napoleon Bonaparte and a gruesome tale from ancient history, will play in front of COWBOYS AND ANGELS, the latest film to emerge from the BSÉ/IFB low budget scheme.Directed by David Gleeson, COWBOYS AND ANGELS is a contemporary story with elements of comedy, romance and urban thriller. The film will star Michael Legge (ANGELAS ASHES) and Allen Leech in the leading roles. Leech will also appear as the lead role in Paddy Breathnach’s new film MAN ABOUT DOG which will be released in cinemas later this year.
COWBOYS AND ANGELS is released by Buena Vista International (Ireland) and was produced by Wide Eye Films with funding from BSÉ/IFB, Filmfoerderung Hamburg, BKM, FFA, Grosvenor Park Productions (UK). Media Luna Entertainment is handling international sales.
WATERLOO DENTURES was produced by Buckshee Films under the BSÉ/IFB funded ‘Short Shorts’ film scheme. This scheme aims to produce ultra short, eye-catching films which can be used to promote Irish film-making and released in cinemas before feature films.
