Updated Deadlines for IFB Funding Programmes

Bord Scannán na hÉireann/the Irish Film Board (BSÉ/IFB) wish to notify applicants of a change to the deadlines for all development, production and distribution funding schemes.

The new upcoming application deadlines for production and distribution funding are as follows:

Wednesday 13th August 2014

Friday 12th September 2014

Applications will be processed within 5-6 weeks of the deadline. This change is being implemented to allow further time to engage with BSÉ/IFB Project Mangers in advance of making an application.

The procedure for the assessment of all development funding applications remains the same. The deadline for the receipt of applications is the last working day of every month. Applications will be processed within 6-8 weeks of the deadline.

Please note however that there will be no deadline for all development applications in July. There will no deadline for screenplay development applications in August (in addition to July), as the scheme is currently under review.

The upcoming deadlines for development funding are as follows:

Friday 29th August 2014 (for project development, animation development, international development and documentary development only. No deadline for screenplay development until further notice)

Tuesday 30th September 2014

Applicants are advised that the online system will close at 1pm on the day of each deadline. Applicants are advised to give themselves ample time to prepare, upload and submit applications as incomplete submissions will not be accepted once the system has closed. Please consult the relevant page of the BSÉ/IFB funding programmes section of the website prior to making an application.
