Galway Film Fleadh is this Week’s Focus of TV3’s New Movie Show "The Film Buzz"
The Galway Film Fleadh is the focus of the latest episode of TV3’s new dedicated movie show, The Film Buzz, which can now be watched online.
This week’s episode sees the Film Buzz crew visiting the 26th Film Fleadh, from star studded red-carpet events to little known gems which are really worth checking out. Host Gordon Hayden and film reviewer Rory Cashin catch up with names from both sides of the camera including the lead actors from Gerard Barrett’s highly acclaimed Glassland, Jack Reynor (Transformers: Age of Extinction, What Richard Did) and Will Poulter (We’re the Millers, The Chronicles of Narnia), the star of the powerful Noble Deirdre O’Kane (Moone Boy, Intermission) and her director/writer husband Stephen Bradley as well as Terry McMahon, director of the remarkable Patrick’s Day, on his follow-up to the controversial Charlie Casanova.
The programme also features interviews with actor David Wilmot (Calvary, The Guard) and director Niall Heery on their new comedy Gold, while Gordon and Rory also engage in a discussion about what exactly makes the Galway Film Fleadh unique and important as well as the current strong state of Irish cinema.
