Reality Bites short films to premiere at the Stranger than Fiction documentary festival

The scheme aims to encourage experimentation and the realisation of fresh approaches to non-fiction filmmaking and this year's three selected film aspire to do just that by allowing the audience an insight into very different but highly interesting subject matters.

In BLOODY GOOD HEADLINE, produced by Shane Hogan for Areaman Productions, directors Tom Burke and Paul Quinn take a look at the lives and thoughts of five men who sell newspapers in Dublin's rush hour traffic.
Directed by Ben Jones and produced by Heather Mills for Telegael, UNDER OPEN SKIES takes an affectionate and nostalgic look at the creation and subsequent dereliction of the countless outdoor handball alleys that scatter the landscape of both urban and rural Ireland.
