Women in Animation Ireland Hosting Panel Talk Series
Women in Animation (WIA) Ireland will host a series of panel talks, beginning with ‘The Women of Doc McStuffins' this evening (November 3rd) at Brown Bag films in Smithfield, Dublin.
The panels will feature key crew members such as Art Directors, Animators, Storyboard Artists and Production staff talking about their roles in the creation of each series. They will discuss their career progression in the industry, their education in animation and their experience of working together on the animation production.
The ‘Doc McStuffins' panel will feature Bronagh O'Hanlon (Art Director), Theresa Mayer (Producer), Jean Herlihy (Animation Director) and Cliona Curran (Storyboard Artist), who work together on the Disney Junior series. ‘Doc McStuffins' is produced by Dublin-based animation studio Brown Bag Films.
The events are free to WIA Ireland members, and places are available to the first 30 people to RSVP.
