Element Pictures Distribution has announced the North American DVD, Blu-ray and On Demand release of JOHN FORD: DREAMING THE QUIET MAN on March 24th.

In this emotional and entertaining documentary narrated by Gabriel Byrne, viewers are given a unique glimpse inside the making of the time-tested classic THE QUIET MAN.  In JOHN FORD: DREAMING THE QUIET MAN, director Sé Merry Doyle explores the tenacity of director John Ford and his twenty-year struggle to bring his classic film THE QUIET MAN to the screen.

A worldwide box-office sensation, THE QUIET MAN received Academy Awards in 1953 for Best Director (John Ford) and Best Cinematography (Winton C. Hoch and Archie Stout).  The film's star, Maureen O'Hara received an honorary Oscar at the Governors Awards on November 8, 2014.
