NEW IRISH FEATURE SEES A WEALTH OF TALENT COOKING UP A STORM

Anthony Byrne’s debut feature SHORT ORDER has brought together a melting pot of talent, including legendary actor John Hurt, comedian Jack Dee and acclaimed Oscar winning actress and multiple nominee Vanessa Redgrave, to indulge in a tale of culinary seduction and fantasy.

The film, an Irish/German/UK co-production, written and directed by Anthony Byrne, who also directed the award winning short film MEETING CHE GUEVARA AND THE MAN FROM MAYBURY HILL has completed a successful three week shoot in Ardmore Studios and has now moved on to Studio Bendestorf in Hamburg to complete this project where “life is a buffet and everything is Short Order.”

“We are thrilled to see such acclaimed actors and professionals joining their talents to star in this exciting new feature,” says Moira Horgan, Head of Marketing with the Irish Film Board. “We wish the project the very best of luck with the remainder of their shoot.”

Produced by Brian Willis of Igloo Films (Ireland), Peter Stockhaus Filmproduktion (Germany) and Ipso Facto Films (UK), SHORT ORDER is executive produced by David Collins of Samson Fims.

The film stars Emma de Caunes, Cosma Shiva Hagen, Rade Serbedzija, Paschal Friel, Jack Dee, Tatianna Ouliankina, Paul Kaye, John Hurt, Jon Polito, and Vanessa Redgrave.
