IFTA FILM & DRAMA AWARDS 2016 April 9th at the Mansion House, Dublin

Submissions for the IFTA Film & Drama Awards - Close on Tuesday 16th February at 5pm.

The 2016 IFTA Film & Drama Awards Ceremony takes place on Saturday 9th April at the Round Room of the Mansion House in Dublin. With an outstanding year of Irish creative production on screen, the Irish Academy Awards will celebrate and honour the very best in Feature Film, Television Drama, Feature Documentary, Live Action Short and Animation.

The Awards are open to Irish creative talent working on Irish and international projects which have screened theatrically (whether internationally or in Ireland at festivals or released, etc) or have been broadcast between eligibility period of 1st Jan 2015 and 30th March 2016. 

Submissions are currently being accepted in the following categories:

  • Feature Film
  • Director Film
  • Scriptwriter Film
  • Actor in a Lead Role in Film
  • Actress in a Lead Role in Film
  • Actor in a Supporting Role in Film
  • Actress in a Supporting Role in Film

 

  • Television Drama
  • Director Drama
  • Writer Drama
  • Actor in a Lead Role in Drama
  • Actress in a Lead Role in Drama
  • Actor in a Supporting Role in Drama
  • Actress in a Supporting Role in Drama
  • George Morrison Feature Documentary
