Check Out the New Irish Film Trailer Launched at the Audi International Dublin Film Festival Featuring a Host of Irish Stars and Upcoming Irish Films

Check out the IFB’s latest trailer, featuring current and upcoming Irish films soon to be released, which can now be viewed online here.

Amongst the films highlighted are the box-office hits and Academy Award®-nominees Brooklyn and Room, both of which are currently on release in Irish cinemas. Both films are nominated for Best Picture, Best Actress and Best Adapted Screenplay, while Room is also nominated for Best Director for Lenny Abrahamson.

The trailer also features a host of upcoming Irish films which will screen at the Audi Dublin International Film Festival. Sing Street received its Irish premiere at the Opening Night of ADIFF to a rapturous reception and will be released in Irish cinemas on March 17th. Peter Murphy and Rachel Moriarty’s thriller Traders, starring Killian Scott, screened at ADIFF on February 20th and will be released in cinemas on March 11th. Rebecca Daly’s Mammal, starring Rachel Griffiths and Barry Keoghan, receives its Irish premiere at ADIFF on February 24th and is released in cinemas on April 1st.

Directed by Simon Fitzmaurice, My Name is Emily stars Evanna Lynch (Harry Potter) and will show at ADIFF on February 24th. Paddy Breathnach’s Viva will close ADIFF on Sunday February 28th and was recently shortlisted for an Academy Award®-nomination for Best Foreign Language Film.
