After 16 Shorts Set for April Screenings
Following a very busy month of screenings in March, the After '16 short films, commissioned by the Irish Film Board to commemorate the 1916 Rising, continue to screen around Ireland and internationally throughout April.
The first screening of the month will take place in Triskel Christchurch, Cork on Friday April 1st. Tickets for this event are available here. On Sunday April 3rd, a sold out screening will take place in the Pavilion, Dun Laoghaire.
Screenings will continue throughout the coming weeks across the country at Newry Film Club, University of Limerick Film Club, Athy Film Club, Tuar Ard Arts Centre, Moate, Cultúrlann Sweeney, Clare and Rua Red Film Club, Tallaght.
In addition to the Irish screenings, the short films will continue to screen at Irish film festivals internationally:
Cinegael Film Society, Montreal (April 1st and April 23rd)
Ottawa Irish Film Festival (April 1st - 3rd)
Irish Film Festa, Rome (April 7th - 10th)
Irish Film Festival,Sydney (April 7th - 10th)
Newport Beach Film Festival Irish Spotlight (April 21st - 28th)
