THE YOUNG OFFENDERS - opens in Irish cinemas tomorrow!
After a couple of days of busy previews last weekend, the hilarious The Young Offenders is opening in Irish cinemas tomorrow.
Inspired by Ireland's biggest cocaine seizure of €440 million off the coast of Cork in 2007, The Young Offenders follows two Cork inner-city teenagers, Conor and Jock, as they embark on a 160km road trip on stolen bikes in the hopes of finding an unrecovered bale of cocaine.
The debut feature from Peter Foott features breakout lead performances from newcomers, Cork natives Chris Walley and Alex Murphy. It also features the well-known comedians PJ Gallagher (Naked Camera) and Hilary Rose (The Republic of Telly). The Young Offenders, joint winner of Best Irish Feature at this year's Galway Film Fleadh, is headed for London Film Festival next month.
