Irish Film Board Supports IRELAND ON SCREEN at MIPCOM
Bord Scannán na hÉireann/the Irish Film Board (IFB) is supporting the 'Ireland on Screen' booth in partnership with Enterprise Ireland at this year's MIPCOM which takes place in Cannes this week.
This year there is a diverse selection of Irish representation including production and animation companies as well as Irish broadcasters in attendance at the market.
A host of Irish animation and live action companies are will be out in force expanding on the recent successes in the Irish animation sector.
The aim of BSÉ/IFB at the market is to meet with international producers and broadcasters, reinforcing Irelands strong profile as a destination for television on the back of a wide number of successful projects which chose Ireland as a film location last year. Our team will also be meeting with sales agents and distributors with regard to a number of IFB funded projects. The IFB's inward Production Manager Steven Davenport and Project Manager Mary Callery are attending the market.
