Irish documentary Lost In France to screen at Glasgow Film Festival 2017

It has been announced that Niall McCann’s documentary, Lost in France, will be screened at the prestigious Glasgow Film Festival on 21 February, 2017 in Glasgow's ABC.

Exploring the rise of Scotland’s independent music scene in the 90s, led by cult label Chemikal Underground, the Delgados, Bis, Mogwai, Franz Ferdinand, Arab Strap and other seminal musicians and bands, Lost in France paints an intimate portrait of friendship, creativity and incredible music.

An Irish-Scottish co-production, the documentary features an atmospheric re-staging of a legendary festival (in Mauron, Brittany) and the screening will be followed by a performance from Alex Kapranos (Franz Ferdinand), Stuart Braithwaite (Mogwai), RM Hubbert and Emma Pollock & Paul Savage (The Delgados) as they reunite for one night only.

Tickets for the unique screening and performance will go on sale at 10.00am Wednesday 30 November, priced £16 and £14 (concessions) via: glasgowfilm.org/festival.

Lost in France is directed by Irish director Niall McCann and produced by Nicky Gogan at Still Films and Paul Welsh at Edge City Films and funded by the Irish Film Board/Bord Scannán na hEireann and Creative Scotland.
