Theatrical Release for Irish Shorts
The Board are delighted to announce that a number of Irish short films will receive a theatrical release over the next few months.The Brown Bag ‘Short Short’ Racism is to be distributed nationwide by Buena Vista Ireland. It will go out on 80 prints with The Recruit on 28th March. Buena Vista are also currently distributing the ‘Oscailt’ Short Tubberware, produced by Brother Films, which has gone out on 15 prints with Sweet Home Alabama, starring Reece Witherspoon.
The award-winning Short The Last Time, directed by Conor Horgan will be distributed by Fox on 40 prints and will be screened before the upcoming release The Banger Sisters, starring Goldie Hawn and Susan Saradon.
Abbey films are releasing Igloo Films' Short Cut Meeting Che Guevara and the Man from Maybury Hill, which stars John Hurt, with one of the feature length releases over the next few weeks..
