IRISH SHORT THRILLER 'THE TEN STEPS' ON THEATRICAL RELEASE WITH WOLF CREEK
The multi-award winning Irish short film THE TEN STEPS, directed by Brendan Muldowney, will be released by Abbey Films with Australian outback thriller WOLF CREEK in cinemas nationwide on September 16th.THE TEN STEPS is an old fashioned chilling tale, starring newcomer Jill Harding as a young girl who baby-sits in an old house when the lights go out . . . The short film has already picked up a host of awards on the international film festival circuit and was produced by Conor Barry with funding from the Galway Film Centre, RTE and Bord Scannán na hÉireann / the Irish Film Board.
THE TEN STEPS is Brendan Muldowney’s eighth short film. He is presently working on a feature film, ‘Soul Broke’ with writer Garret Shanley, which has received development finance from Bord Scannán na hÉireann/the Irish Film Board.
Directed by Greg McLean, WOLF CREEK is a chilling, factually-based story of three road-trippers in remote Australia who are plunged into danger when they accept help from a friendly local.
